The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan grassroots organization, has been active in the Lowcountry since 1985. We encourage informed and active participation in government, work to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influence public policy through education and advocacy.
We envision a democracy where every person has the desire, the right, the knowledge, and the confidence to participate.
